Robert Shelburg is a lifelong Lansing area resident and currently lives in Haslett with his partner Ellen and daughter Lyra.

I've been making art for nearly 50 years. I usually work with acrylic paint and ink, but also use collage materials for texture.
For me. art is an exercise in enjoying life. It is a way of learning to relish the beauty of the world around me, and better understand my emotions and senses. It teaches about our connections with one another, while highlighting our individuality. I love the process of decision making mixed with the variables of imagination, and I'm always amazed at what I find in my head, and maybe more so at what others see in my images.

Marilynn
Barner Anselmi

Marilynn Barner Anseimi is from Holt, MI--where she had far too much fun. She is a graduate of MSU and has lived in North Carolina for more than three decades.

She discovered her love for making unique furniture accidentally while helping a friend rehab an old building in downtown Rocky Mount, NC. Her work, from the Red Oak Workshop can now be found in galleries throughout NC, Virginia and now Michigan! Made from a variety of reclaimed woods and blacksmithed iron gates and fences, her one of a kind pieces are a marriage of old metal and extremely old wood, that are not only beautiful, but fully functional as well.

Séafra
Duffy

Séafra Duffy is a native Midwestern artist, author, typewriter fanatic, and talented kicker of tin. After moving north to Michigan in pursuit of a dream that ultimately went bust, he committed himself to the idea of creating something joyful out of the experience of heartbreak. Mostly because of his unwavering belief that the world is a better place when people choose to embrace the bright colors of ridiculousness over the cliché darkness of despair.

When not busy tearing up newspapers and smearing ink, Séafra can usually be found at any number of local coffee shops, sitting behind one of his many treasured typewriters.

Because at the end of the day, it's all about the art. And not his irrational fear of kangaroos.
